HELLO EVERYONE! :DGuess what, senoirs!
From the 12th to the 14th of March, all the guides (excluding the sec ones) attended a first aid course! And guess what? Everyone who took
THE TEST passed, so we're
all qualified! Well, most of us anyway. (:
SO AWESOME RIGHT!ALSO,
SJI had their biennial campfire on the 14th March. The theme was
DYNASTY. Haha can you imagine, Xiuhui nearly wanted to have that theme our campfire but thank goodness the rest of the PLC objected to Xiuhui's idea. Anyway the setting was very impressive, especially the gateway and the structure. I didn't get a picture of it though ): And there was this scene where the 'black ninjas' came and kidnapped the prince, and we saw the ninjas climb down from the second storey to capture the prince. Haha so cool right?
We're such good improvisors as well! For the scavenger hunt, among the rest of the items, we had to find a black sling bag and an orange hairband. Us being such good guides abiding by the school rules (haha) didn't have an orange hairband with us. So we just took a basic black hairband, tore orange strips from our school sign (which the scouts had worked so hard on, haha) and wound it around the hairband! TADAA, orange hairband! But best of all was the sling bag. We tried to pass off a dark blue bag as black, but then decided against it. So we took one of the guide's black tote, and clipped Eliza's bag strap onto it. TADAA, black 'sling' bag! I bet you're so proud of us, haha.
