on 3rd jan, there will be an unofficial meeting from 2.30pm-5.30pm! pls hand up your consent forms on that day..
Please take note that this camp is only for those who received their consent forms for it.
Those guides will be excused from lessons on 5th jan 2007.

* school related t-shirt/PE attire
* Sweater
* Dry school socks
* Undergarments
* torch
* water bottle/cooler
* twine
* foolscape paper and pencil case
* toiletries (brush/comb, soap, toothbrush & toothpaste, tissues etc)
* bath towel, face towel
* medications : must be noted on medical form
* sunscreen
* rags
* logbook
*Slippers
Please do not bring
* food
* electronics games, walkmans or similar
* non-folding knifes and fire starting devices
* family heirlooms
* anything that might disregard the guides law

- 26th may: South division day ( seniors: i think we may need your help for outdoor cooking! pls help us! :D we will appreciate it!)

attendance has been rather bad recently.....
but guides, we are preparing for a very important school event..
so i hope that you all will turn up for meetings..
just 3 more meetings........

the past few december meetings we had, were all on campfire preparations..
i would say that the progress is quite okay
even though very little guides turn up for meetings...
but if more guides would take time and come down for the meetings,
the progress of the campfire would be much faster than before..
each and everyone of you can make a difference in this campfire...
do turn up for meetings!!!!!

hey..
we had an unofficial meeting today..
7.55am-5pm (day camp)
Basically,we did campfire prep today.
yes.. we have been practicing very hard..
so seniors out there, don't worry too much..
we will make the 5th jan campfire a SUCCESS!!!
firepit girls: soak firewoods with kerosene today... with the ODAC girls help.. *thank you*
sturcture girls: managed to complete whatever task they had to do.. (with the help of firepitters)
backdrop girls: they were good!!! almost complete painting the banner...
item girls: i don't really know what is happening.. but i think they are starting to memorise their lines.
oh yes, attendance wasn't very good today...
so.. guides.. you all have to turn up for meetings..
its impt...
the next meeting will be on...... (this meeting only applies to those who have their consent forms)

i FINALLY came back home from guides camp..
3 days 2 night camp was pretty fun for all..
even though we had to rush proposals and do patrolling at night.
seniors were very helpful.. *thank you*
1st day
the guides had outdoor cooking..
i think it was a great experience even though it was tiring..
flowerpecker and sparrow combine...
they were abit impatient and frustrated as they could not get the fire going.
after all it was a experience.. haha..
i think the st gabs scouts were helpful here.. *thank you*
ohhhh.. ohhh... at night...
while, joyce and i were patrolling...
we sang a birthday song to nicholas!!!!!!!
hahaha...
patrolling was fun!!!!!
joyce kept on eating and eating!!!
you knows girls talk too much...
so joyce and i talk rubbish again..
haha..
ariel and esti had fun in the hall too..
they make so much noise that the teachers came...
haha..
yifen and anne slept..
ANNE LOOKS LIKE A COFFIN WHEN SHE SLEEPS!!!(and she knows it)
joyce and i couldn't stop laughing when we entered the hall.
but at night was FUN FUN FUN!!!
2nd day
morning: erika and ethel talked to us.. hmmmm.. quite useful anyway..
the coy had to talk to Shuyi and friends...
afternoon: anne left me all alone in firepit...
i am totally clueless of what am i suppose to do as i wasn't in that component before...
but haha..
we actually had a campfire at night (with yinting's help!!!) even though it was a last minute decision....
wheeeeeee...
it was fun!!!!!
and they almost risk my life.. haha.. what if there is kerosene on the pole? whats more they asked me to light up the fire!!!!
wanted to push the job to joyce.. but haha.. boss was scared too!!
so instead we asked our guider to do it.. she was VERY happy and excited abt lighting up the fire.. so yeah..
they prepared fire extinguisher for it too.. so i thought its going to be scary....
haha.. i think too much. nothing of that sort happen..

sparrow was abit disappointing in the attendance, logbook, patrol box and first aid kit.... but don't worry.. sparrow can do it for the future camps.. *sorry to all the sparrow's seniors for the disappointment*
