i am here to thank everyone who came for the 3
days 2 nights camp
and congrats to the best sec 1,2,3 and best
patrol.
for the campfire
although u people had slow reaction n staff but i
guess the campfire was alright afterallfor me,i feel that the campfire was a success
already.
becoz when i look back n see how we progressed
from nothing to this major (X50) production, it is
amazing.[not with a lot of help]
The schools came n everything was fine.
although there were disappointments here n dere,
but hey!
this campfire is definitely better den 2 yrs ago
that one! (acc to ms teo jin ling and guiders and
seniors, and i agree with them)
no point looking at the downside of everything

for the understudies,
u all were very supporting towards the PLs esp in
times when the thing looks like it is so not gonna

i mean i have a lot of things to say,but i cant
really express it in words and writing larx.
now that it's been close to a year, i shall also say my piece:
okay. firstly i hope you all, the entire coy will read this and know that the plc is very thankful for everyone's hard work and support. it's going to be a year since we stepped up as plc. and of course, we're going to step down very soon. i mean it's inevitable. as our former guider, mrs pat ho-tan once said this "people come, people go." so yea. i think it's been a very fulfilling year for the plc to work with the coy although there were many disappointing times. however, there were also times when we had fun as a coy.
we played games. we did intensive footdrill. we had pep talks and scoldings. we had camp prep. and finally we had our first ever campfire in the new school. this is hij 1st coy. okay, maybe i shouldn't be in a very reflective mood now. yeps. lets fast forward to 060606!! what a jinxed number. hahaha. but at least this day did not stop us from having our campfire.
so i guess the campfire was more or less very successful. it was the night when all the components merge as one after working so hard so several months. it was certainly magnificent although the weather was not very promising. yeps, hahaha. but i thought it was really nice to see the coy coming together as one at the 5 0'clock hour when the rain finally stopped. even ms lakshmi went "alleluia!" HAHAHAHA! okay. you could see everyone working frantically at the last minute.
backdrop people were putting up the backdrop. firepit people, or firepitters, as kailing would like to put it this way, could finally remove those ponchos and groundsheets and start stacking up our precious firewoods which we had been soaking them with kerosene ever since we were born. :D structure people could finally come out of the shelters and work on the structure. item and some other people could finally wipe the stage. others were also bringing the chairs out to the parade square. the deejays also arrived with their sound system, equipment, etc. the scene just gives you the campfire feel. and most importantly, the ij spirit. :D
so, the campfire finally commenced. the backdrop looked extremely fabulous. so sixties. haha. structure was cool too. with the gate and sherry and xiuhui as the guards. haha. souvenirs and awards were great. cute radios and the pearl necklaces. overall deco also did us proud with the thingy on the chairs. the item was totally entertaining! the emcees did a fantastic job too. yeps. their outfits were very sixties! refreshments were scrumptious, as sam would like to put it this way as well. and as for firepit, kudos to all who breathed in the smell of the kerosene for the past few months. hahaha. and thankfully, we didn't cause the parade square to become chao tah.
so all in all, i think we did well as coy. although there are also rooms for improvements.
to the seniors: thanks for taking your time off to come for the campfire despite having your common tests. thanks to all the seniors who came to help us. thanks to all who have left their home comforts so as to spend a night or two with us. and finally thanks to all who have given us their support, encouragement, guidance and assistance to make this campfire a success. :D
firepit would also like to thank:

okay. i think this is probably my longest entry in this hq blog. may the high quality spirit continue to live on! congrats and well done to everyone! may we also continue to bring guides and ij to greater heights. oh yes, before i forget, we would also like to thank our dearest guest-of-honour, mrs tan for gracing the event!
060606 is probably one of the best days in guides and i'm sure it has certainly brought everyone lots of fond memories of the campfire. memories which we will remember for life.
