sec 4 farewell 2006 : our thank-yous to you.

firstly, i think the seniors enjoyed themselves today. therefore it is only right that we say our big thank yous to the coy for preparing the farewell. the skit was super de duper hilarious (especially those laugh aloud footdrill commands like 'hentak-chichi-jepat-chichi'. HAHA!). special thanks also goes to the making of the video though you all stole the pictures from vanesa's blog. AND HOW DARE YOU ALL INVADE OUR PRIVACY DURING OUR PLC MEETINGS!! nevertheless, the video made some of us weep. and oh yes, a big big thank you for all the sweet little gifts and notes and not forgetting those gerberas, roses, and carnation. i bet there was an appreciable rise in far east flora's takings this week. hahaha.

patrol-wise, i would like to thank- forgive me for being very mynah-listic here- the past and present patrol members of mynah of course. thanks for the all the fun even when it's our last meeting. we will always remember those dumb things (see, we can still be crappy without the mynah's original big joker, charmaine.) and we will always remember each and every member of mynah:
  • regina who was being especially whiny towards ariel today and was also freeloading on our root beer. :D
  • ariel and her fable, feathers from a thousand li away (she memorised the lit allegory not only for the sake of sharing it with us but also to MEMORISE HER QUOTATIONS FOR HER UPCOMING EXAM! TSK TSK, ARIEL!) :D
  • ashleigh and her high tolerance level for allowing the wonderful seniors of mynah to 'ka-chiow' her during GOH. very very sporting of you, ashleigh. :D
  • eliza and HER STUPID SAMOSA. (okay lah. frankly speaking, they were QUITE nice, just that we suspected she used her facial or/and body oil to 'steam' her super de duper oily samosas... -shudders-) so next time should you come across a type of cooking oil called 'ZAZA'S OIL' in the supermarket, i STRONGLY urge you to think twice before buying it or risk being afflicted by gastroenteritis (aka lao sai) :D
  • sharon and her zen-like nature. :D
  • little eunice and her KONNYAKU JELLY. :D
  • rohaidah and her ultra spicy, tar-bu-leh-tahan mee goreng. :D
  • hanni and her child-like nature. :D

many thanks to mynah for the wonderful memories and laugh aloud meals. :) no other patrol can ever beat our voices' strength, power and might when it comes to the yam seng part!

all the best to the patrol leader and patrol second councils 06/07. may you all not only bring guides to greater heights but also make guides as enjoyable as possible, yet at the same time maintaining the standards which our past seniors have set for us. we will meet again next june. till then, take care and God bless all.
